A Yōhaijo is a place to worship a deity from distance. Okitsugū Yōhaijo was built here to worship Tagorihime-no-kami, the deity of Okitsugū, which is located on the island of Okinoshima, 60km from mainland and strictly off limits. It is unknown when this Yōhaijo was built.
