Story

Ōtoshi-no-kami's children

Ōtoshi-no-kami married Kamīkusubi-no-kami's daughter, Inohime. Their children are Ōkunitama-no-kami, Kara-no-kami, Sohori-no-kami, Shirahi-no-kami and Hijiri-no-kami.

Ōtoshi-no-kami married Kayohime, and their children are Ōkaguyamatomi-no-kami and Otoshi-no-kami.

Also, Ōtoshi-no-kami married Amechikarumizuhime, and their children are Okitsuhiko-no-kami and Okitsuhime-no-mikoto. These 2 gods are worshipped by the people as the gods of the kamado. Okitsuhime-no-mikoto is also called Ōhehime-no-kami. Their next child is Ōyamakui-no-kami. Ōyamakui-no-kami is also called Yamasueno'ōnushi-no-kami, enshrined in the mountain of Hie in Chikatsuōmi-no-kuni, and is the god that dwells in narikabura enshrined in Matsunō in Kadono. They also gave birth to Niwatsuhiko-no-kami, Asuha-no-kami, Hahiki-no-kami, Kaguyamatomi-no-kami, Hayamato-no-kami, Niwatakatsuhi-no-kami and Ōtsuchi-no-kami, a total of 9 gods. Ōtsuchi-no-kami is also called Tsuchinomioya-no-kami.

Hayamato-no-kami's children

Hayamato-no-kami married Ōgetsuhime-no-kami, and begot 8 children. Wakayamakui-no-kami, Wakatoshi-no-kami, Wakasaname-no-kami, Mizumaki-no-kami, Natsutakatsuhi-no-kami, Akihime-no-kami, Kukutoshi-no-kami and Kukukiwakamurotsunane-no-kami. Natsutakatsuhi-no-kami is also called Natsunome-no-kami.
