Location

Kashīgū is located in Higashi-ku, Fukuoka city, Fukuoka prefecture, about 7km from central Fukuoka city.

Address is 4-16-1 Kashī, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka city, Fukuoka prefecture.

Opening hours

Gates are open between 6am and 6pm.

Reception hours for prayers are between 9am and around 3:30pm.

Amulets are available between 9am and 5pm.

Admission Fees

No admission fees required.

Shuin

Shuin is available at the "Juyosho", where charms and talismans are offered. ¥300 required.

Public transportation

The nearest station is Kashiijingū station, and is about 5 minutes from Kashīgū. From Hakata station, in central Fukuoka, about 10 minutes by JR Kagoshima line to Kashii station, and another 3 minutes from Kashii station to Kashii-jingū station by JR Kashii line. Kashii line is operated once in about 30 minutes during day time.

Kashii station and Kashii-Miyamae station are also nearby.

Kashii station is about 15 minutes, 1km from Kashīgū.

Kashii-Miyamae station is about 10 minutes, 800m from Kashīgū. Fron Tenjin station, in central Fukuoka, about 12 minutes to Kaizuka station by Fukuoka City Subway Hakozaki Line, and another 8 minutes to Kashii-Miyamae station by Nishitetsu Kaizuka line.

From Tenjin Sanchōme bus stop, in central Fukuoka, about 30 minutes to Kashīgū-Shōbuenmae bus stop by Nishitetsu bus for Midorigaoka or Doi danchi. About 2 buses are operated per hour, during day time.

Parking

There is a free parking lot in front of the shrine. Regular capacity of about 50 cars, and maximum of 200 cars.
