A memorandum of facts about shrines visited. Kamado shrine is a shrine located in Dazaifu city in Kyūshū. As it's location was in the 'Kimon', the unlucky direction, of the Dazaifu government office, it was worshipped to provide protection of this direction. It is also known as a god of matchmaking, bringing good relations.
Kamado shrine is a shrine located in Dazaifu city, Fukuoka prefecture, on Mount Hōman, that has been considered as a sacred mountain since ancient times.
Since Mount Hōman was located in the 'Kimon', north-east which is considered to be the unlucky direction, of the Dazaifu government office, the shrine was believed to provide protection of the direction for the Dazaifu. Kamado shrine, dedicated to Tamayorihime-no-mikoto, is also believed to have a divine favor for drawing together spirits, and is known to be a shrine of matchmaking.
Kamado shrine is also known for its cherry blossoms, with more than 200 cherry blossom trees in blooming in spring, and also, for beautiful scarlet leaves of more than 300 maple trees in autumn.
